So, this was supposed to be fixed already in 10.10? Hmmmmm makes me
wonder what my problem really is then, only because I still have this
issue with the microphone. I noticed the other day when I logged in from
the lock screen, that it had the ability to record but, only for a few
seconds.

I have the Hermosa CX20561 sound card, and I was wondering if I took (I have a
dual boot of windows7) the drivers adn tried to map them in. Would that work?
to be honest I love Linux and now have a hard time switching back to boring
Windows. This is just an issue that I've spent 4 days on to no avail.

I have also done this "I've already tried different model parameters with the
"snd_hda_intel"-module in "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf""
I had recording for a bit, but it seemed like too many things were running, or
that there was too much static in the recording.

Perhaps I'm missing something. I've also checked the AlsaMixer and used
the PulseAudio. Is there any more info needed to fix this. just cause
I'm on my last leg with this one. and all the other solutions haven't
helped at all.
