I lost digital sound output on my 64-bit computer a few days back, apparently with the upgrade to kernel 2.6.35-25. I have tried various things in the hope of getting sound back, including upgrading to the next kernel 2.6.35-26 and updating the alsa drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling pulseaudio, etc., but so far nothing helps. My audio card is described by lspci as follows:
