I'd like to add that this also occurs in Meercat. My circumstances are slightly different:
- I have a laptop with a screen resolution of 136 x 768 - To the right of the laptop I have an external monitor with a resolution of 144 x 900 - I am using the NVIDIA driver and their X Server Settings program I am experiencing the same 'mouse cursor disappearing' issue on my laptop monitor. (It's really really irritating to loose your mouse cursor when you try and click a tab on the lower panel). After lots of searching it seems as though this issue has been irritating multi-monitor users for about 4 years: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20334 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/57784 Thanks, Matt ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #20334 http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20334 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/652198 Title: "Dead space" in multiple monitor configs are accessible by mouse -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
