Agreed,
Additionally I recently tried to sudo Smb4k as root; and it does mount the
shares as READ ONLY
Smb4k is basically dead in Maverick at this point and totally
functionless for me.
My older ubuntu machines are still working perfectly in the office with
Smb4k and I could not be happier about those machines.
I may have to resort to duel booting to an older version on this machine
until I can solve this.
