Mostly rambling here, sorry for that, but while eating lunch I googled pixbuf and GdkPixbuf. Now, I did get some error messages while trying to take screenshots of the errors regarding xorg packages.
Sorry i didn't pay more attention to what those error messages said. I just assumed that the screenshot tool was in a state of "flux" due to some old packages being removed and newer packages not yet completing installation. Nothing shows up regarding that: lance@lance-desktop:~$ ls /var/crash _usr_lib_gnome-applets_computertemp.1000.crash _usr_sbin_NetworkManager.0.crash Just a silly thought, shoot me ;^/ I wish I could remember if 'apt-get -f install' was suggested or if I just new to try that? I tend to think I just new what to do. I can tell you that this upgrade version runs much better than any of my fresh installs :^) In fact this particular Natty is working so well I'm going to "clone" it w/a UUID change so I can use the clone to test. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/711896 Title: Upgrade to Natty fails to install xserver-xorg-core -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
