Mark, As Colin mentioned, you should not be trying to upgrade or reinstall Ubuntu by installing Ubiquity to your desktop. The proper way to upgrade an existing installation of Ubuntu is to either wait for the release, or if you're looking to use the development version, `sudo update-manager -d` in a console should work. The proper way to reformat and reinstall is to use the Live CD installer (ubiquity) from the live CD.
However, if you're willing to run through it again, I would appreciate it. Just update the installer program to the latest version by typing `sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install ubiquity` in a console, and then run it again with the --debug option (`ubiquity --debug`) until it crashes or gets to the install confirmation page (I really wouldn't proceed past that). When it crashes, please attach the /var/log/syslog and /var/log/installer/debug files. Thanks, and sorry for the delayed reply. -- [apport] ubiquity crashed with AttributeError in on_next_clicked() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103629 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
