Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity
Today I had to find that I could not start unity anymore. Restarting and choosing the classic desktop at log-in, I shockingly had to note it was not even installed anymore for some reason. Installation in Synaptic fails with the following output: unity: Depends: libnux-0.9-0 (<0.9.18) but 0.9.18-0ubuntu1 is to be installed Depends: compiz-core-abiversion-20110113 but it is not installable ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: unity (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.37-12.26-generic 2.6.37 Uname: Linux 2.6.37-12-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: wl Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Jan 27 20:04:23 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Alpha i386 (20110122) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US:en LANG=en_US.UTF-8 LC_MESSAGES=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: unity ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 natty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/708815 Title: Unity got deinstalled and is not installable anymore -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
