Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

Today I had to find that I could not start unity anymore. Restarting and
choosing the classic desktop at log-in, I shockingly had to note it was
not even installed anymore for some reason.

Installation in Synaptic fails with the following output:

unity:
Depends: libnux-0.9-0 (<0.9.18) but 0.9.18-0ubuntu1 is to be installed
Depends: compiz-core-abiversion-20110113 but it is not installable
