I've fixed the "no sound with internal speaker" problem on HP 620 (this laptop has only one mono speaker) by installing linux-backports-modules-alsa-lucid-generic package on Ubuntu 10.04.1 Now I have HP Mini 110-3010sy also with one mono speaker and original Ubuntu 10.04.1 also has the same problem - no sound on HP Mini 110-3010sy netbook :( I will install linux-backports-modules-alsa-lucid-generic package on this netbook and write there if this will fix audio problem.
