Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: virt-manager

I am trying to connect (ssh+xen) to a remote server running Xen and
libvirt on top of Debian. The given message is as follows:

Unable to open connection to hypervisor URI 'xen+ssh://root@xxxxx/':
no connection driver available for xen:///
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/connection.py", line 996, in

    None], flags)
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/libvirt.py", line 102, in openAuth
if ret is None:raise libvirtError('virConnectOpenAuth() failed')
libvirtError: no connection driver available for xen:///

Maybe you need to install ssh-askpass in order to authenticate.

I verified sshd allows root login and ssh-askpass is installed. Some
people point this issue could be related to libvirt not compiled with
xen support. I don't see why this should be the case here. How could I
check. At an even more basic level, I wonder whether this is an issue
with the client or server.
