Same here. On a ConRoe845PE motherboard, just installed Ubuntu 10.10 and updated it to the default Ubuntu 11.04 - released in Apr 2011, supported until Oct 2012. Running "alsamixer -c 0" in the console, setting Master to 100, PCM to 81 and everything else to 0 appears to have solved (not fixed) the problem. Now I cam play any YouTube video without a problem.
