The list is sorted, which causes rerendering when the list resorts even
if the torrent is unchanged.

I'm not sure this will solve anything. Veldt, Rolcol, and Virgil have
all reported the problem goes away when changing to a non-murrine theme,
which afaik does not involve a different version of cairo.

I'm working on ways to reduce the number of refreshes triggered by the
application code, but since (1) this doesn't happen in any other theme,
and (2) the CPU still spikes to 100% on scrolling no matter how many
periodic refreshes the application code triggers, the root of the
problem still appears to be in the murrine theme.
