Yes, it appears that nano operation is not influenced by any of the
wrapping options, such as -w, -r, and the Meta-L operation while inside
the editor.  This also affects upstream, as I tested on 1.2.3 and 2.0.2
original sources.  Maybe the nano guys know it is broken?  Or maybe we
just misunderstand the feature.  It appears broken, but I may be wrong
as to how it is expected to function.
