Absence from the list does not mean anything.  If something is on the list then 
it definitely works but if it is not on the list then it almost certainly will 
work too.  It is a good list for ensuring that new purchases are going to work 
fairly easily.

It is impossible to find&list everything that linux works on.  These sorts of 
lists tend to be generated by a small percentage of users using the "System 
Testing" tool or just reporting back to the list about hardware they personally 
have found easy.
