Hi Matt, Thanks for reporting this issue. I've downloaded that same file to my ~/Desktop and everything seems to be alright. So I'm wondering if there is something different between our two configurations. Here are a couple of questions that might help us to figure out what happened:
* In Edit > Preferences > Torrents, do you have an "incomplete directory" configured? * What is your default Download directory? * Did you use "Add Torrent" and then set ~/Desktop as the download path? Or, did you move it to ~/Desktop after downloading it? * Do you have "append .part to incomplete files" checked? * This is a long shot, but if you search your hard drive for the .iso, does it show up anywhere? ** Changed in: transmission (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/700214 Title: File went missing as soon as download completed -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
