Audex was Segmentation Faulting for me when saving profiles or doing a Codec Scan from the profile configuration window. After getting all the encoders that Audex looks for installed and removing ~/.kde/share/config/audexrc, it no longer Seg Faulted. The encoders I needed to install are lame, flac, oggenc, faac, and wavpack.
