I also get an X error with 'subtitleeditor', but only when it tries to load a video automatically (if it has the same name as the subtitle file except for the extension) or when a video is listed on the command line. It seems like it doesn't happen when the video is loaded "manually" from inside the GUI. Also, it does not always happen when I run the application with the --debug-all parameter. (My guess is that there is a race condition somewhere...?)
Can somebody else also try loading the video from the Video menu to confirm this? (You can prevent the video from auto-loading by changing its filename or by putting it in a different folder.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/692985 Title: subtitleeditor crashes when opening any video file -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
