It's happening on an iMac i7 27" booting at install time with "nomodeset xforcevesa" options then, when logged in, the system asks me for pairing my bluetooth devices (magicmouse and wireless keyboard) and bluetooth- applet crashes.
I've got the same issue on maverick and natty. PS: I had to boot with "nomodeset xforcevesa" because of the blank screen issue.
