Public bug reported:

With Hardy:

r...@ubuntu:/home/djd# modprobe aha1542
FATAL: Error inserting aha1542
(/lib/modules/2.6.24-28-generic/kernel/drivers/scsi/aha1542.ko): No such device

Much the same occurs with Gutsy, Hardy and Lucid. Various alternative methods
for loading the adapter module
were tried without success (eg using a kernel parameter aha1542=0x330).
The ISA adapter is connected to a SCSI disk and is recognised by the PC which
loads the adapter BIOS.
The adapter and disk work with MS Windows.
