Public bug reported: A problems summery: Graphics - I bought a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 11 a few days ago. The propertery graphics driver works fine with Kubuntu 10.04 LTS. When I try the same with 10.10 (install with hardware drivers) xserver does not come up after reboot. Same with the driver installed from the ati homepage. Only way to get booth, 10.10 and ati graphics, was to install 10.04 and upgrade.
WLAN: - driver is not included in the current kernel but I think it will in future (it seems in 2.6.37). (please integrate them in the current ubuntu 10.10 kernel by default) I compiled the driver for now based on a driver published on the realtek site (but I have to recompile every time I upgrade the kernel, right?) Suspend: - the system does not comes up from sleep mode. Suspend to ram itself works but screen remain black and system hangs up completely. That is a very serious problem for me, because I need the notebook for university.
