Placing the header/footer information within the margins is VERY
unorthodox. It unnecessarily forces the page's main contents to be
shrunk so that the header/footer information can fit inside the margins.
The main content of the pages that I print off from PDFs and the
internet show up as unnecessarily small--shrunken and not using all the
room on the page. It makes using Ubuntu to print things off less and
less desirable. I find myself preferring to print from Windows because
of this.
