I was running Xubuntu 10.10 on a usb-stick (with persistence-enabled). Here is what I remember to have done.
* what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug? I have opened Software Center (via the Xfce Menu) and searched for openoffice. Then the crash occurred. * Could you please provide the output from running "software-center --debug" I have attached the output (but given that there was no crash this time, I am not sure if the output would really help) I was (and am) unable to reproduce the defect after the first time it happened. Let's close this defect. If I see the crash again, I will re-open it with additional information (such as running software-center --debug and attaching the output). ** Attachment added: "Output of running 'software-center --debug' from the command-line" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/676834/+attachment/1777130/+files/output-of-software-center-with-debug -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/676834 Title: software-center crashed with SIGSEGV in FcFontRenderPrepare() -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
