I can confirm this problem as well. I will attempt the workaround to mount with "noserverino". Using Ubuntu 10.04LTS
I was able to find support for Christian Krause diagnosis as well - when you attempt to reset the easytag default directory in "preferences", you get an error message stating "the selected path '....' isn't valid '....
