LTSP notifies initramfs-tools to use MODULES="netboot": $ grep MODULES /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/share/initramfs-tools/conf.d/ltsp MODULES="netboot"
The previous versions of initramfs-tools used a hardcoded list of modules in that case, and atl2, atl1c, jme, r8169 etc were missing. I think that this problem was fixed in recent initramfs-tools versions, where the list of modules is determined automatically. Adding initramfs-tools to "Affects", and maybe someone can verify that this problem is fixed-released in Natty. ** Also affects: initramfs-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/275123 Title: 8.10 Alpha 6, Asus Eee 701, kernel panic, atl2 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
