Hi,

Sorry I might not have been clear enough.

I have 2 packages installed:homebank-4.3-1~getdeb1 and
homebank-4.3-1~getdeb1 installed using Synoptic after adding GetDeb to
the repositories using the instructions from the Homeland download page
links.

With only homebank-4.3-1~getdeb1 installed the link for help
(file:/usr/share/homebank/help/index.html ) does not work. I also cannot
find it on my system.

After installing homebank-data-4.3-1~getdeb1, the link still does not
work. However I can now find the help in the location /usr/share/doc
/homebank-data/help/. If I enter file:///usr/share/doc/homebank-
data/help/index.html In the browser, the loads fine.

After creating a symlink from /usr/share/homebank/help/index.html to
/usr/share/doc/homebank-data/help/index.html. I can manually load the
help on either URL, but when F1 is used from Homeland the hero.went

Subject: [Bug 692306] Re: Help > Contents link incorrect on Ubuntu

I am not the package maintainer, but the correct location is
/usr/share/homebank/ for additional datas.
You installed from ubuntu repositories or from getdeb directly ?

Title:
Help > Contents link incorrect on Ubuntu

Status in HomeBank:
  Incomplete
Status in “homebank” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Using
HomeBank version: homebank-4.3-1~getdeb1 and homebank-4.3-1~getdeb1
OS: Linux zaphod-ubuntu 2.6.35-23-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 24 11:55:36
UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.10 AMD64

The link for Help > Contents (F1) is incorrect. The link loaded is:
file:/usr/share/homebank/help/index.html

The correct link is: file:///usr/share/doc/homebank-data/help/index.html

I am not sure but this might also affect the File > New Wallet which is
not loading categories. Receive error:

System Detection:
   Languages: en_za.utf8, en_za, en_utf8, en
   Preset File: Not Found

Thanks for what is otherwise a really useful application.
