> This bug affects me, and can confirm that typing "help" and pressing
Return does allow booting from the USB. I created an Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
bootable stick from Ubuntu 10.10.

Confirmed. This is a great work-around. Using Kubuntu 10.04 to create
a 10.10 UNR thumb drive.

I have a hard time accepting the "it will not work" responses or the
"please read the release notes" responses, especially considering the
"help" work-around (to date, one of the easiest work-arounds I've had to
do).

The bug is marked as critical, so I won't be to critical. :)

Thanks for the help.
