Public bug reported: Binary package hint: thunderbird
Recently one of my cooworkers updated Thunderbird 3.0 from 10.04 LTS to latest version (AFAIR it was update from 3.0.6 to 3.0.10). After update he lost all his mailboxes. During investigation of the problem we found the all mailboxes were still in the standard location, but it's description was missing from the pref.js file. It looked like the file was overwritten during update. Lucky we had backup. Restoring the file resolve the issue. It reminded my father complains that after standard update of thunderbird he lost all his mailboxes. He also use Lucida or one of it's derivative. ** Affects: thunderbird (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/689959 Title: Thunderbird after update lost all settings (pref.js file has been overwrited) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
