Then I've made 2 users. Then I login as one user and switch to the second user using gnome menu (not gdm). (New feature in lucid). When I do "Log Out" from the second user - video signal disappears and I'm not able to use neither X nor tty to do something with the system. I have Nvidia driver (version 173.14.22) turned on. When I turn it off and do the steps described above - video signal remains, but when I return to the screen of the first user - the brightness of the screen goes very low. (Fade bug in Gnome?) And sometimes I even get black screen with lonely mouse. (The screen is not unfaded). Maybe there are two different bugs? With nvidia driver (when screen is reset). And with gnome unfading when unlocking the screen.
