Hi Daniel, I've managed to make my Internal Microphone works partially, more info here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1638986
I've noticed that using the "Crack of the Day" builds of alsa-driver there's no need to boost the microphone anymore. But I still have to add "options snd-hda-intel model=mbp55" to "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf" and it still records only on the right channel!? I attached the output of "alsa-info.sh" in this thread too... Hope it help. ** Attachment added: "alsa-info.txt.8hVhjgz4BC" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/686086/+attachment/1758603/+files/alsa-info.txt.8hVhjgz4BC -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/686086 Title: Ubuntu 10.10: iMac 27" i7: Internal microphone does not work at all. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
