ok a little update, it doesnt crash every time , only when certain
packages are updated a certain way, I have yet to find out which ones
and how. I prepared my system for debugging however in order to use
valgrind I have to run an instance of the program using valgrind.
Unfortunately the program in this case is gnome-panel and it only allows
one instance. killing gnome-panel automatically restarts it and I have
no idea how to permanantly kill it so that I can run an instance of
gnome-panel under valgrind.
