To: M. Stimberg I had this bug also. I was running a 64 bit version (amd-64 10.04 destop edition installed from cd). I also was using nvidia graphics card/drivers. I have since upgraded to 10.10 desktop using the cd installation and the problem has gone away. I hope this helps, Chad
