Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
There is an important error on the documentation page titled "BurningIsoHowto" at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto Under the major heading: "Windows 95 / 98 / ME / 2000 / XP / Server 2003 / Vista: Infra Recorder" it makes this claim: "Download and install Infra Recorder, a free and open source image burning program." clicking the link in that line goes to: http://infrarecorder.org/ That web site indicates that their software only works with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7. I cannot find any reference on that web site to a version of their program that runs on Windows 95, 98, or ME. I probably need an older version of that program that will run on Windows 98. I sent an E-mail to the owner of that web site asking for help and I haven't received a reply yet. That E-mail is forwarded below. The Burning How To says that there is a version on your web site that works with Windows 95 - ME. I can't find any reference to a version on your web site that works with the older versions of Windows. I tried searching your forum, but the search fails. Searching for phrases like "Windows 98" produces an error message that says "words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words". Where can I find the version of Infra Recorder that run on these systems?
