Hi Jeremy, I read the wiki page you indicated. (It would be good if you could duplicate this bug and file it against the appropriate web person to have this machine removed from the certified list -- since it seems to be incorrect).
According to that page, I looked at: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/info/kernel-version-map.html to identify the most appropriate kernel. I am running lucid - so I think the most appropriate kernel version would be: Lucid (master -0) Ubuntu Kernel Version Mainline Kernel Version TIP 2.6.32.26+drm33.12 2.6.32-27.49 2.6.32.26+drm33.12 Reading that document further, it indicates that the simplest way to install this is to look in: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/daily/current/ Where, it says, "Each build directory contains the header and image .deb files for the i386 and amd64 architectures, generic flavour." Unfortunately that directory does not contain any images. In fact, I have to go back to 'http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel- ppa/mainline/daily/2010-11-22-natty/' in order to find any. Actually that was the ONLY directory that did contain kernel images. Note that there appears to be nothing related to '-lucid' in the mainline directory. Could you confirm that this test will actually be useful since the kernel in lucid in unlikely to ever become the kernel being used in maverick or natty. Thanks, Anand P.S.
