Public bug reported: Using either of these two devices:
Samsung TSST Corp CDDVDW SH-S223L or lightscribe model DH-16A1L with ubuntu 10.10 with all updates results in bad CD being created with data files. Did a sudo chmod +x /usr/bin/wodim and first disc was OK, but all after that are defective. I am willing to run other tests, if necessary, to determine nature of problem. Surely I'm not the only one having problems. Also, since whodim is installed with regular install, should not cdrkiti-doc be installed for info command? Thanks in advance, chuck ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: wodim 9:1.1.10-1ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-23.41-generic 2.6.35.7 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-23-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Dec 1 03:20:19 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release amd64 (20101007) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: cdrkit ** Affects: cdrkit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug maverick -- Brasero disc burn error when checksum done https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/683554 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
