Which is a good solution, since python's version is supposed to be kept fixed, as you said. I changed the code without thinking about this. In fact, I changed the /usr/bin/python symlink and forget about it, so I didn't even remember it was a modification of mine, and not a package action. But, please, try to be a little less rude upon confrontation.
