@mark bonsack Sorry, mate, I didn't want to muck around with it once it was working. I get the feeling the changes were backed out automagically on the upgrade to 10.10 (apt-get removed the packages at one stage) but I haven't looked into it. As a work machine, I just wanted it to work! If you have a quick command or three I can run to check what I'm running, shoot them through and I'll do it and dump the results here. Other than that I just wanted the machine working ...
