Public bug reported: Binary package hint: lxdm
After uninstalling LXDM, the default display manager is still set to /usr/sbin/lxdm in the file /etc/X11/default-display-manager. This results in the system hanging on boot after "checking battery state" unless you boot into safe graphics mode (or fix it to /usr/sbin/gdm or whatever display manager you use.) ** Affects: lxdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Removing LXDM does not change default display manager https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/677420 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
