Public bug reported: A week ago I had installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my Toshiba Portege R205-S209 (Pentium M Dothan/i915GM+ICH6/GMA-video/IDE) Everything was going smoothly enough. Nothing I couldn't manage, except of creapy OpenOffice...
But after I agreed on Autoupdate this wednesday(2010.nov.17), Suspend mode started crashing. Laptop goes suspend, but when waking up, it flashes with LCD backlight for a second (black background)... but then again goes off and remains black until forsed powerdown (10 sec. PWR button). PWR-LED shines like it has waked up. Of course after such powerdown there are disk errors. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 915gm autoupdate notebook suspend -- Suspend failing after autoupdate nov.17.
