Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: software-center

I am able to browse the software center and see further information on
the applications but when I press the install button nothing more than a
button press happens.

I have been having issues with the gui not loading unless I first login
to the safe mode and then switch user back to standard desktop edition.
Maybe these are connected?

I am using a downloaded from ubuntu site 10.10 maverick.

Thanks
Wayne

ps - Apart from these small issues... Thanks Ubuntu for helping me
become Windows free!
