Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: checkbox

The System Testing app "checkbox-gtk" prompts for the administrators
password just after clicking next. However, if at this stage you click
"cancel" rather than entering a password, checkbox fails to detect this
and runs forever showing the main window along with the "Gathering
information from your system..." window. Unfortunately, at this stage,
the only ways to stop this app are:

  - kill
  - logout / reboot

Additionally, there is no "Cancel" button when the app first starts
(only options are "next" or closing the window manually).
