Public bug reported: Binary package hint: flac
After a new upgrade from Ubuntu 9.04 to Ubuntu 9.10. When trying to tag a FLAC file in kid3, using a ID3v2 (Vorbis type) tag, upon attempting to write the tag to the FLAC file, kid3 crashes with a segfault. The crash handler provides the following info: Application: Kid3 (kid3), signal: Segmentation fault [KCrash Handler] #6 0x004208ca in FLAC__metadata_iterator_get_block_type () from /usr/lib/libFLAC.so.8 #7 0x080d5714 in ?? () #8 0x0808d34d in ?? () #9 0x0808d751 in ?? () #10 0x08069e8d in _start () kid3: 1.2.1ubuntu7 libflac8: 1.2.1-2build1 Please advise if there's any more info I need to provide. I've used kid3 regularly for the last year or two; this bug is a real bummer. ** Affects: flac (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- kid3 segfaults in FLAC__metatdata_iterator_get_block_type when trying to write FLAC tag https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/676122 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
