Attached the output and I made further tests with the following results
(tests made prior to producing the attached output): I renamed "Auto
eth0" to "Personal eth0" and disabled "Available to all users" - and
guess what: That now seems to work and either shows up correctly to be
connected (I made a few reboots+login and got it correctly connected).
After reboot I got a new "Auto eth0" and even that now once got
connected first.

So I think the problem is the "Available to all users" option. Could it
be a problem with AppArmor or some other security feature that does
block something here?

The /var/log/apparmor directory is empty on my machine so I cannot
provide any logfile for apparmor and even not sure if it is activated,
can't find an apparmor process in my ps -A output.
