Public bug reported:

This happens intermittently, but always in the same place when it does.
It locks up and I am forced to power off the laptop, then when grub
comes up I choose recovery and about a second after the no floppy found,
lock up. I then power on and off selecting the normal kernel till it
boots, this is really annoying.

my system spec:
HP pavilion zv5404us
Nforce3 go chipset
Geforce 4 420go with dedicated memory
Athlon XP-M 2800+
1.2 gig ram
320 gig hard drive
DVD burner
