** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gnome-icon-theme

Bookmarks in mavericks do only have a blanc icon when selecting an icon-theme
other than ubuntu icon themes.
"gnome-fs-bookmark.png" was missing in the current gnome-icon-theme (2.31.0).

A workaround is to install gnome-icon-theme (2.28.0-1ubuntu1). This
however creates a conflict with empathy. So you may want to extract only
- the missing files.
+ the missing gnome-fs-bookmark* files, and to update
+ /usr/share/icons/gnome/index.theme

Also note that the current gnome-icon-theme-extras (2.30.1-1) cannot be
installed, generating the following error message:
"The following packages have unmet dependencies. gnome-icon-theme-extras :
Depends: gnome-icon-theme (< 2.31) but 2.31.0-0ubuntu1 is to be installed"
