hi. I'm rather disappointed that the NVidia GeForce 8400 GS does no longer work with Ubuntu 10.10 - I'm also affected by the black screen problem. Hopefully the problem will be fixed soon, because a downgrade to Ubuntu 10.04 would cost even more time than i already spent trying to fix the nvidia-problem.
