Fabio - I'm not convinced it's a hardware problem as such, I'm more suspicious that it's a software problem detecting the hardware correctly during boot up - most times it works, sometimes it doesn't (which is why it taken a few days to reply to you - it's taken a few days of booting up before it recurred).
