I installed maverick on the above mentioned T60. Networkmanager shows me between 6-54 Mbit/s (and it recovers back to 48-54 Mbit/s even if it showed 6Mbit/s before). Download speeds with synaptic are at ~2500kbyte/s, as expected. Maybe it's because I'm ruining my AP with 802.11a/g (5Ghz) only? Encryption is set to WPA2-Personal/AES only too.
