Please just file a single bug report for each issue you encounter. The lack of a tooltip is intentional; the idea is to clean up that area so everything behaves in a consistent, predictable way. One step there is removing tooltips, instead having any information directly in the menu that appears when you left click.
The information that actually appears in said menus is a little trickier, and hasn't really been fully established.
