Hello, I'm affected by this bug too. I'm using mumble 1.2.2-4 inside an Ubuntu 10.10 running inside a Virtual Box 3.2.6_OSE r63112.
Workaround for me is to 'mess around' in the devices menu and randomly change from default to whatever I want.
