Some keys work in the place of others --Both SHIFT keys activate Scroll Lock indicator, while Scroll Lock does not work, and it also activates CAPS LOCK though that indicator does not light-- and the alpha keys, on occasion, quit working. The Shift key phenomenon happens every second press of said key (not counting the press to turn the indicator light off, it seems). The xorg.conf file contains more options than the Dapper default, yet when the original file is replaced with that one there is no difference --even though the number of keys in Feisty's file is 105 & the number in Dapper's file is 102. (X was restarted after changing this file.) I also note that as I was typing this, Firefox suddenly loaded when I pressed 'd' on the keyboard and had to be shut down. I have also experienced the 'Task List' being loaded when I press just the ESC key (no CTRL). Installing Feisty-beta, I deliberately chose the US keyboard layout, rather than using auto-detect (my custom).
