Sorry I seemed to of clicked on window rather than desktop. Basically it change when I clicked on a reply from the indicator applet, as you can see though it gets rid of any setup you have and replaces it with a single reply feed. There is no second version of gwibber open, and it doesn't add an additional stream with the replies in.
